Using the information you gathered on Friday, 12/23, you will put a micro-loan plan into action. Kiva is an organization that organizes micro-loans to people in need. We as a class will select 4 people to support in their attempts to make their lives better. Each group of 4, after discussion and research, will select one person from the following website to invest in. The proper amount of research will yield the best candidates. My group chose Marivic Ocampo from Disimuray,Cauayan City Isabela, Philippines. She works in agriculture selling pigs. She is 41 years old. We chose her because pigs are a big demand in the Phillipines. She wants to make her pigs healthy enough to sell so she needs money for those needs. Also, she is a good investment because she makes a good amount of money but needs a little help to make ends meet.
